The Huna 101
The basics of huna, techniques you can use right away. No advanced stuff here, and no fluff and talking around. This is work in progress, momentarily serving as a placeholder ... so bear with me please.
I highly encourage you to visit Huna 101 course kindly provided by Two Bears. This is probably the BEST free introduction to huna you can ever get. I'm not sure how complete beginners will be able to grasp it, as I didn't come to it as complete beginner, thus here comes another recommendation, just in case, Huna the Ancient Religion of Positive Thinking - book by William R. Glover, which is very easy book to read and use.
Dr. LaTourrette's Huna 101
I don't understand what you refer to, when saying it not being available?
This site is as alive as I choose to add content to it, and as others choose to participate. It's not intended to draw crowds, so to speak, it's more of a kind of a personal site. What is here, is here, what is not, you can go find elsewhere.
Huna 101 tapes by Doc John La Tourrete were, as far as I can tell, not digitally remastered, and are only available directly from him (by the way the title of this article, Huna 101, has nothing to do with Dr. LaTourrette's Huna course). He doesn't even list them on his (his son's?) website. He usually only sells tapes to his "inner circle", best way to become a member is by subscribing to his mindmastery-essentialskills yahoo group.
Approaches to Huna:
Aloha kakou,
A nice site you have here!
As far as "practical" Huna goes...how can one know what one is to do, if one has no idea of what is expecterd of him?
The Huna Theology is where everything must start, IMHO. Without knowing what the game really is...how can we know who is wining?
The twin drives of Pono (Righteousness) and Pono`ole are inside of ourselves forever. What is our job, our only job here? To "Graduate" into na Aumakua when we die.
And the only Path to that is the Warrior's Path of Hewa (making mistakes), followed by mihi (acceptance responsibility and remorse for the mistake)and then followed by kala (release and forgiveness by the people you have harmed) and the restoration of lokahi (harmony) again, but now with the addition of na`auao (wisdom from the pain) gasined by the experience.
Once we know what the goal is, and that is religion, then the actions we must take to succeed in God's Plan here for us all becomes clearer.
And that is the areana religion and its theology alone.
A hui hou,
Kahuna Lani

not available
I think they are not available and the site is somewhat dead. Or isn t it
I wonder wheter the course "Huna 101 by Dr John La Tourrette" has been digitally mastered and somewhere available. I have Tad James HUNA tapes and looking as well for transcript or manusscript of these tapes.
Greetings
Alfred
