Max Freedom Long

Max Freedom Long is an undisputed founder of Huna.

Born in 1890, died in 1971.

1917-1936 spent in Hawaii. After return to mainland in 1936 , to Laguna Beach, California, later to Hollywood, where he owned a small printing business, though not prospering in the time of Depression. That pushed him more towards the writing side, with his two wifes Louise and Ethel helping him with his writing style.

He devoted almost his entire adult life uncovering the secret methods of Hawaiian Kahuna and developing his teachings of Huna based on these methods.
